Coraline's Curious Cat Trail was an outdoor art exhibit celebrating the 15th anniversary of LAIKA's first animated film, Coraline. Thirty (31*) five-foot-tall sculptures of the Cat were created by UK-based Wild in Art and were painted by artists local to Portland.

The sculptures were on public display from Friday, August 2, 2024 through Sunday, October 13, 2024 at various locations in Downtown Portland, OR and four nearby locations. Each was sponsored by a local business.

An app by the same name for iOS and Android devices was released to help fans locate the sculptures. It provided geolocation services to pinpoint where the sculptures were prior to the final weekend of the exhibit. It also let users virtually collect them by entering a four-digit code found on the information plate attached to the base of each sculpture and earn rewards from local businesses. Sculptures located inside a building had a clock symbol and an "Open Times" tag on them where you could see the hours they could be visited during.

Coraline's Curious Cat Trail map preview

A PDF of the map is available on the Coraline's Curious Cat Trail website. It shows the location of 30 of the sculptures, but was not updated to show where two were relocated to and did not show the 31st sculpture, Burnished Joy, that was added after the starting date. See table below for updated information.

On October 10, 2024, the sculptures were transported from the locations below to Director Park for a farewell weekend viewing.

At the end of the month on October 30, 2024, the sculptures were auctioned to support OSHU's Dornbecher Children's Hospital.
