Isaac Hempstead Wright[1](born Isaac William Hempstead[2]; April 9, 1999) is an English actor. Beginning his professional acting career at the age of eleven, Hempstead-Wright is best known for his role as Bran Stark/The Three-Eyed Raven in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011-2014 and 2016-2019) which earned him a Young Artist Award nomination as Best Young Supporting Actor in a TV Series[3]. Currently, Hempstead-Wright resides in Faversham, Kent, with his family. In 2017, he enrolled in the University of Birmingham, but dropped out to focus on his acting career[4]. In 2019, Hempstead-Wright confirmed that he would return to university to study neuroscience and that he hopes to continue to act while doing so[5].
He provides the voice of Eggs in Laika's 2014 film, The Boxtrolls.
