Perry Babcock is the father of Norman and Courtney, the husband of Sandra Babcock as well as the son of Norman's grandmother.
Overview[]
Throughout Norman's life, Perry doesn't accept his son's gift of speaking to the dead. He constantly scolds Norman for it, especially since Norman usually refers to Perry's mother. However, at the end of the movie, Perry finally learns to accept son's ability after Norman saves the entire town from the angry ghost of Agatha Prenderghast, the alleged witch. Perry is shown to be a bit stubborn and more abrasive in his parenting method, wanting his son to be a man of sports and action rather than what he is. He is now happy and jolly with Norman as they watch TV with Sandra, Courtney and Grandma.
